About Tammy Insley

Writing and I have been in a will-they-won’t-they relationship for years. I’ve scribbled stories on napkins, in notebooks, and (probably) on a few outdated flash drives. 

After a long career surrounded by glowing screens and problem solving, I did something wild ... something clearly insane, I risked it all to open a bookstore. 

Now I spend my days surrounded by paper, ink, painted edges and the occasional bark from my four-legged sidekick (yes, the pug gets an employee discount).

Somewhere between shelving books and fangirling over local authors, those same amazing humans dared me to publish something of my own. Challenge accepted. (seriously I was tricked by masters of the craft)

Give me a richly built world, questionable morals, and no need for trigger warnings, and I’m game.

I’m a geek, a dreamer, a reader before anything else and I finally decided it was time to tell a few stories of my own.
